Wrap Technologies Launches WrapTactics LMS to Complete Training Foundation for Non-Lethal Response

Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP) has announced the commercial launch of WrapTactics Learning Management System (LMS), a digital platform that completes the training foundation of its WrapShield six-tier human-centered response architecture. This move positions the company to support broader adoption of its non-lethal response technologies, including the BolaWrap 150, across a range of sectors beyond traditional law enforcement.

The LMS provides digital learning, certification management, immersive virtual reality training, compliance reporting, and mobile learning. It is designed to create recurring subscription revenue through ongoing certification, curriculum updates, and compliance services. The platform also supports expansion into adjacent markets such as private security, healthcare, corrections, education, and transportation. Future enhancements will include AI-assisted training assessment, additional digital certifications, advanced analytics, and partner-developed content, targeting federal, defense, and international opportunities.

This launch follows the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ 2026 classification of the BolaWrap 150 as an instrument of restraint rather than a firearm or weapon. That determination is expected to expand procurement opportunities beyond law enforcement, as the device is not pain-based and does not shoot, strike, shock, or incapacitate. Instead, it deploys a multi-sensory distraction followed by a non-lethal restraint, giving officers time to manage non-compliant subjects before resorting to higher-force options.

The BolaWrap 150 is already used by over 1,000 agencies across the U.S. and in 60 countries, with training certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST). The new LMS is intended to make that training more accessible and scalable, supporting the safe and effective deployment of the technology.

Wrap Technologies also offers a broader public safety portfolio, including the Wrap Reality immersive training platform, WrapVision body-worn camera system, and next-generation counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) solutions like PAN-DA and the 1KC Kinetic Anti-Drone Cassette. These tools aim to provide safer, scalable, and cost-effective technologies for public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure markets.

The WrapTactics LMS launch is significant for businesses and organizations considering non-lethal response tools. It addresses a key barrier to adoption: comprehensive training and compliance. By providing a structured learning environment with certification tracking and virtual reality scenarios, the platform helps ensure that personnel are properly trained, which is critical for liability management and operational effectiveness. This could accelerate the adoption of non-lethal options in sectors like private security and healthcare, where de-escalation is increasingly prioritized.
