Recruiting teams gained a new option this week as candidate.fyi launched its full agentic hiring platform, described as the largest release in the company’s history. The platform supplies talent teams with a lineup of AI agents that coordinate interviews, answer candidates around the clock and turn every interview into usable intelligence, according to the company.
The significance for Texas employers and the businesses that depend on fast, reliable hiring lies in the platform’s architecture. All of the agents run on one shared knowledge layer, so what one agent learns, every other agent already knows. The release also introduces the new fyi operator and a Candidate Trust Profile that confirms applicants are real people. Candidate.fyi said the platform builds on what it learned powering hiring for teams at companies including CoreWeave, Yahoo and Zendesk.
“Your team just got bigger,” said Kyle Connors, CEO and co-founder of candidate.fyi. “Most AI shows up as another tool, another setup, another silo, another thing that doesn’t know what the last one did. We re-imagined the work AI does for you, how you work with it, and how you trust who’s on the other side. These agents work like a team because they are one. Welcome to agentic hiring.”
The agent lineup is available today, with two more arriving early next year. The Interview Companion Agent turns every interview into structured intelligence that follows the candidate through the process, so the best things said in an interview do not get lost. The Recruiting Coordination Agent runs the process between the steps: scheduling, rescheduling, confirmation and follow-up, and teams teach it how they work, such as how to handle a hiring manager who cancels on short notice. The Candidate Experience Agent gives candidates an agent of their own, answering questions at any hour in the company’s voice using what it knows about the company and its process.
Two additional agents are slated for the first quarter of 2027. The Interviewer Agent conducts screenings on the employer’s terms, with teams setting the topics, timing and style while the agent runs the conversation. The Application Review Agent reviews every application like an analyst rather than a keyword filter, checking against what matters and flagging gaps.
The new fyi operator changes how teams use the platform. Instead of hunting for the right screen and button, users ask for what they need, such as moving an interview to next week while keeping the panel, or asking why a candidate has not been scheduled. The operator runs on the same shared brain as the agents and knows where the user is, and teams can tag @fyi in a Slack hiring channel to have requests handled from there.
The platform also addresses a growing concern: AI has made it easier than ever to pretend to be someone else, from AI-polished applications to deepfaked screening calls. The Candidate Trust Profile pulls signals from applications, interviews and candidate profiles and resolves them into a clear answer on whether a team is dealing with a real person, appearing right where hiring decisions are made. For Texas companies competing for talent, the combined pitch, less administrative work and more confidence in who is on the other side of the process, is the core of the bet candidate.fyi is making.
