BOXABL Inc. (NASDAQ: BXBL), a leader in innovative, factory-built modular solutions, announced the appointment of Larry King, CPA, as chief financial officer and Heather Clayton as chief accounting officer. The move strengthens the company's finance leadership as it builds out the infrastructure of a newly public company.
King brings more than 35 years of finance, accounting and operations experience, including extensive SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions and operational turnaround work. He has held prior senior roles at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, Riviera Holdings Corp. and Tropicana Entertainment. Clayton brings nearly a decade of experience building and scaling finance and accounting functions for fast-growing, multi-entity organizations. She spent six years with the Vegas Golden Knights, where she advanced to chief financial officer, and subsequently served as CFO at ASTOUND Group.
The appointments come as BOXABL continues to advance its mission of making housing affordable at mass-production scale. Since its inception in 2017, BOXABL has raised over $230 million from more than 50,000 investors. The North Las Vegas-based company is dedicated to transforming the housing industry through innovative technology and design. Its flagship product, the Casita, is a 361-square-foot studio unit with a full kitchen, bathroom and utilities that unfolds on-site in under an hour. The company also offers the smaller 120-square-foot Baby Box and is developing stackable and connectable modules designed to form townhomes, multifamily units, and larger single-family homes.
BOXABL began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker symbol “BXBL” on July 20, 2026, following the completion of its business combination with FG Merger II Corp. The addition of King and Clayton is expected to provide the financial rigor and strategic oversight necessary to support BOXABL's next phase of growth as a public entity. For investors and industry observers, the strengthened finance team signals a commitment to transparency and operational discipline, which could enhance confidence in the company's ability to execute its ambitious expansion plans.
The impact of BOXABL's modular housing solutions could be significant for Texas and beyond. As housing affordability remains a critical issue, BOXABL's factory-built units offer a potential solution to reduce construction costs and timelines. The company's innovative approach, combined with experienced financial leadership, positions it to scale production and potentially disrupt traditional housing markets.
