Wrap Technologies to Support Florida Teacher Safety Training Program

Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP), a global leader in innovative public safety technologies, has been selected by WOFT Charities to provide training support for the WOFT Teacher Safety Training Program. The program, which received a $475,000 appropriation in Florida's fiscal year 2026-27 state budget, aims to equip teachers, administrators, and other school personnel with practical safety and preparedness skills.

WRAP's involvement will focus on training that emphasizes situational awareness, threat recognition, early intervention, de-escalation, and avoiding physical confrontation when possible. The program includes real-world scenarios and practical self-defense instruction, providing educators with tools to handle potential threats while minimizing risk.

This collaboration marks a significant step for WRAP, as the company gains exclusive access to WOFT's training facility, which is being developed as a national flagship environment for integrated WRAP training. This facility could serve as a model for expanding WRAP's training and technology into law enforcement, private security, military, and other professional safety environments, as well as for private citizens. The company also envisions a digital training ecosystem that supports continuous learning, recurring proficiency, and certification.

WRAP's portfolio includes the BolaWrap 150, a non-lethal restraint device that deploys a multi-sensory distraction to create time and distance during critical incidents. The device is not pain-based and does not shoot, strike, shock, or incapacitate, offering a safer alternative for officers and subjects. Used by over 1,000 agencies across the U.S. and in 60 countries, BolaWrap is backed by training certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST).

In addition to BolaWrap, WRAP offers WrapReality, an immersive training simulator that enhances decision-making under stress, and WrapVision, a body-worn camera and evidence management system designed for efficiency and security. WrapVision, powered by IONODES, is projected to have a made-in-America roadmap by early 2026, addressing concerns over data integrity and foreign surveillance risks.

The selection by WOFT Charities underscores WRAP's commitment to public safety through innovative technology and expert training. While the $475,000 appropriation was made to WOFT, WRAP will receive a portion based on services provided, and this should not be interpreted as a direct award or future revenue guarantee. The program's potential expansion into other sectors could have broad implications for how safety training is delivered across various professional fields.
