Verizon has announced the availability of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5. The new devices, which feature advanced camera systems, next-generation chips, and significant battery improvements, will be available for preorder starting September 12, with broad availability on September 18. The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone, will be available for preorder on October 16. This launch is set to impact Texas businesses and consumers by providing access to the latest mobile technology with flexible upgrade options and loyalty rewards.
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max introduce a redesigned 48MP Fusion main camera with variable aperture, the most advanced camera Apple has ever created. Powered by the A20 Pro chip, these models achieve major breakthroughs in battery life and performance. The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers the biggest jump in battery life in iPhone history. The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch internal display that folds to a compact 5.4-inch external display, powered by the A20 Pro chip, and includes an advanced camera system. All new models support Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, a completely new version of Siri launching in beta with iOS 27.
Verizon is offering several attractive plans for both consumers and businesses. Customers can switch to Verizon and get the iPhone 18 Pro without needing to trade in a device, and upgrade to a new iPhone every year with Simplicity Pro. The plan includes unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data, 10GB of premium hotspot, and standard roaming in Canada and Mexico, all for $80 per month after Auto Pay and switch discounts, plus taxes and fees. For those who trade in an eligible device, Verizon offers up to $1,200 off a new iPhone with an eligible myPlan when adding a new line. Business customers can get the iPhone 18 Pro (256GB) on us, or save up to $1,200 on the iPhone 18 Pro Max with an eligible trade-in and a select My Biz Plan.
Verizon Loyalty program provides all postpaid customers on any plan with no activation or upgrade fees, saving up to $40 in device fees. Customers earn 3% in Verizon Dollars every month, redeemable for devices, accessories, or multiplied up to 5 times at top brands. The program also offers weekly chances to win experiences and daily drops including concert and sports tickets, exclusive merchandise, and gift cards through the My Verizon app. This focus on simplicity and rewards could appeal to Texas businesses looking to streamline their mobile expenses while providing employees with top-tier devices.
The new Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 feature the most accurate heart rate sensor in a wearable device, with a new Health Sensing System and S11 chip. They offer a readiness score, higher-frequency heart rate and HRV measurements, longer battery life during workouts, and faster charging. With watchOS 27, Apple Intelligence comes to the wrist, bringing Siri AI with personal context understanding. AirPods 5 offer the industry's best Active Noise Cancellation in an open-ear design, removing up to 50 percent more external noise compared to the previous generation, and support Siri AI and Live Translation.
For Texas businesses, these announcements mean access to cutting-edge technology that can enhance productivity and connectivity. The eSIM-only models of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max provide two additional hours of video playback, and the iPhone Duo's foldable design offers new ways to multitask. The devices are available through Verizon Business, as well as Visible, StraightTalk, Total Wireless, and Verizon's prepaid service. Preorders begin September 12 at 8 a.m. ET.
