Variety's '10 Comics to Watch' Nathan Macintosh Brings High-Energy Stand-Up to Punch Line Irving

Comedian Nathan Macintosh will bring his fast-paced stand-up to Punch Line Irving for performances Thursday, Aug. 27 and Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. Macintosh will perform Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Friday at 7 p.m. at Punch Line Comedy Club Irving, 310 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Suite 130.
Known for his explosive delivery and takes on technology, money, relationships and everyday frustration, Macintosh has built a growing national audience through television appearances, comedy specials and millions of views across social media. His visit to Texas is part of his 2026 run of comedy club dates across the United States, and it highlights the state's role as a key stop for touring comedians.
“Texas crowds bring great energy, and I’m excited to get onstage in Irving,” said Macintosh. “There’s a lot happening in the world right now, which fortunately means there’s a lot to make fun of.”
Macintosh was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” in 2024. He has appeared three times on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, along with appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan. His comedy special Money Never Wakes was named the best YouTube comedy special of 2023 by The New York Times. His follow-up special, Down With Tech, tackles artificial intelligence, social media, screen addiction and the growing role technology plays in everyday life. Down With Tech was later named by Vulture as one of five stand-up specials to watch and received a Juno Award nomination for Comedy Album of the Year.
Macintosh also wrote and starred in two seasons of the Canadian comedy series Trapped and can be heard on SiriusXM and CBC Radio’s The Debaters. His performances at Punch Line Irving offer Texas audiences a chance to see a comedian whose work has been recognized nationally and internationally, and whose material often explores the impact of technology on modern life.
