TruGolf Completes Polymath Acquisition, Adding Regulated Digital-Asset Infrastructure to Texas Golf Tech Business

TruGolf Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUG), a producer of advanced golf simulation systems for home or entertainment venues, has completed its acquisition of Polymath Research Inc., bringing a blockchain platform designed for regulated financial assets into the publicly traded golf technology company’s business. The transaction, announced October 9, combines TruGolf’s golf simulation hardware and software operations with Polymath’s infrastructure for issuing and managing tokenized securities. Polymath will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary.

The acquisition adds regulated digital-asset infrastructure to TruGolf’s existing golf simulation technology business. Polymath developed Polymesh, a Layer-1 blockchain designed for regulated securities and tokenized real-world assets. As of December 31, 2025, Polymath had issued more than $132 million in tokenized assets for over 65 active issuers. The combined company plans to pursue two complementary businesses: golf simulation technology and institutional tokenization infrastructure.

For Texas, the deal signals a notable expansion of blockchain-based financial infrastructure within a local technology company. TruGolf Links and Polymath are developing tokenized financing for equipment leasing and fractional franchise ownership, with initiatives targeted for the first quarter of 2027. That could open new capital-access models for golf-related businesses and franchise operators, allowing equipment and ownership stakes to be represented and financed through regulated digital tokens. If successful, the model could be replicated in other asset-heavy industries in Texas, where equipment leasing and franchise ownership are common.

The combined company’s dual focus also positions TruGolf to tap institutional demand for tokenized real-world assets while continuing its core golf simulation business. Polymath’s track record of issuing more than $132 million in tokenized assets across 65 active issuers provides a foundation for that effort. For readers and investors, the acquisition broadens TruGolf’s revenue potential beyond golf hardware and software, though execution risks remain as the company integrates a blockchain platform with its existing operations.

TruGolf has also appointed Natalie Hirsch as Group CFO and COO, while a warrant exercise generated $2.95 million in net proceeds. The leadership addition and capital infusion may support the combined company’s planned initiatives.
