The Roundabout in Buda Marks Construction Milestone With Community Ground Breaking Ceremony

The Buda Economic Development Corporation (Buda EDC) announced that The Roundabout in Buda, an 18-acre, nine-building community-focused development on Ranch to Market 967, will host a community shovel ceremony on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The event marks a significant construction milestone for the project, which is already underway. Developer Tim Dowling and Buda Capital Partners will be joined by Mayor Lee Urbanovsky, City Manager Micah Grau, and Buda EDC CEO Jennifer Storm at the ceremony.

The Roundabout is a purpose-built destination development in West Buda, made possible through an incentive between the City of Buda and the Buda EDC. Unlike traditional retail centers or strip malls, the development is intentionally walkable, shaped around a signature circular promenade that integrates retail, dining, office space, trails, patios, playgrounds, and inviting outdoor areas into a seamless, community-centric experience. This design reflects the growing demand for a central place where residents can connect, relax, and build community.
