As $124 trillion in wealth prepares to change hands through 2048, a network of the world’s most prolific luxury real estate advisors is taking on the question that families of means are asking with growing urgency: who can be trusted with the family’s future? REALM Global, an invitation-only, brand-agnostic membership of roughly 600 advisors across 23 countries, announced it will convene 200 senior advisors and 50 capital gatekeepers at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, May 17–19, 2027, to write The Age of the Trusted, a definitive guide to luxury advisory intended to be published with Greenleaf Book Group.
The project arrives at a consequential moment. According to Cerulli, $124 trillion will transfer through 2048, with more than half—$62 trillion—coming from high- and ultra-high-net-worth households. The ultra-wealthy population is also expanding rapidly; Altrata reports 556,850 individuals now hold $30 million or more, up 14.4% in a single year, and projects 746,570 by 2030. Yet service quality lags: only 17% of high-net-worth individuals describe their advisory experience as seamless and personalized, according to Capgemini’s World Wealth Report 2026.
Excellence in real estate is rare and concentrated. Among 840,000 producing U.S. agents, the top 1% close 18% of every transaction in the country, according to Mike DelPrete, Cotality data. REALM’s own membership reflects that concentration: nearly one in three members appear on RealTrends Verified rankings, with median production 2.5 times the national ranked median. Its Wealth Intelligence Hub spans more than 220,000 verified clients with an average net worth of $28.9 million, and members exchange more than $10 billion in referral volume annually.
“Every family we serve already has more information than they could ever use,” said Julie Faupel, Founder and CEO of REALM Global. “What they cannot find on a screen is discernment, discretion, and the quiet confidence of an advisor who will still be beside them a decade from now.” The book will be written by twelve councils at the 2027 Collective, each addressing a cohort such as founders, generational families, and family offices, with chapters closing with practices advisors can apply immediately. Dr. Stephanie Gripne, Founder and CEO of the Impact Finance Center, will participate, bringing perspective on impact capital.
For Texas, the announcement brings a high-profile gathering of global wealth advisors to Austin, reinforcing the state’s role as a hub for family offices and private capital. For the industry, The Age of the Trusted aims to establish a shared standard across 150+ brokerage brands, giving advisors a benchmark, families a clear picture of what to expect, and gatekeepers a common language. REALM is welcoming a select group of partners and sponsors to join the 2027 Collective; more information is available at www.realm-global.com.
