MEDICLIN Reports Strong First Half of 2026 with Revenue and Earnings Growth

MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft (Ticker: MED; WKN 659 510) reported consolidated group revenues of EUR 386.4 million for the first half of 2026, an increase of 5.0 percent compared to EUR 368.1 million in the same period last year. Group EBIT improved by EUR 4.3 million to EUR 26.6 million from EUR 22.4 million, while the number of patients treated rose to 54,708 from 53,183.

The company attributed the solid performance to consistent momentum from the first quarter, stability in core business areas, efficient cost management, and targeted investments. Tino Fritz, CFO of MEDICLIN, stated, “We were able to build consistently on the positive momentum from the first quarter. This is clearly reflected in our half-year results: stability in our core business areas, efficient cost management and targeted investments have helped us to achieve our earnings targets for the second quarter. In the Post-Acute segment, revenues increased by 4.6 percent to EUR 263.0 million (previous year: EUR 251.5 million), with EBIT rising by EUR 2.3 million to EUR 25.6 million. The cost of materials ratio improved slightly to 19.0 percent from 20.0 percent, while staff costs rose 7.2 percent to EUR 145.2 million, reflecting the segment’s focus on quality care. The Acute Care segment saw revenues of EUR 111.2 million, up from EUR 104.6 million, though EBIT remained flat at EUR -1.1 million due to higher cost of materials. The Care segment generated EUR 12.3 million in revenue with an EBIT of EUR 0.2 million, a turnaround from a loss of EUR 0.2 million in the prior year. The Service segment reported other income of EUR 69.2 million and EBIT of EUR 1.9 million, up from EUR 0.5 million.

For the full financial year, the management board expects consolidated group revenue growth between 3.5% and 6.5% and group EBIT between EUR 57.0 million and EUR 72.0 million. The interim report as at 30 June 2026 is available at www.mediclin.de in German and English.
