IVU Traffic Technologies AG (ISIN DE0007448508), a leading provider of software and IT solutions for bus and rail companies, is strengthening its investor relations efforts to enhance transparency and dialogue with the capital market. The company reported strong preliminary results for the first half of 2026, leading to an upward revision of its full-year earnings outlook.
Based on preliminary figures, IVU significantly improved its operating profit (EBIT) to EUR 3.3 million in the first half of 2026, up from EUR 1.0 million in the same period last year. This growth is attributed to an increase in recurring revenue and the initial success of efficiency-boosting measures. As a result, the Executive Board now expects a full-year 2026 EBIT of approximately EUR 22 million, up from the previous forecast of EUR 20 million (actual 2025: EUR 18.6 million). The outlook for consolidated revenue of over EUR 160 million and gross profit of approximately EUR 130 million remains unchanged.
Starting in the third quarter of 2026, IVU will accelerate its reporting schedule by moving up publication dates by about two weeks, thanks to streamlined fast-close processes. The results for the first nine months of 2026 will be published on November 5, 2026. All reports will be available on the company's investor relations website at https://www.ivu.com/en/investors/financial-reports.
Additionally, IVU will introduce interim analyst conference calls as a standard practice starting in Q3 2026, allowing investors and analysts to discuss earnings performance with the Executive Board in English. Further in-person and digital communication formats are planned. “We have demonstrated in recent years that our business model is viable and scalable. The preliminary figures for the first half of 2026 and the resulting upward revision of our full-year outlook strongly underscore this. Now is the time to make this strength even more visible on the capital markets - with greater transparency, more dialogue, and greater consistency in our communications,” said Petra Meiser, CFO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG.
For Texas, this news matters as IVU's software solutions are used by public transport operators worldwide, including those in Texas. Improved profitability and transparency could signal a stronger partner for Texas transit agencies looking to modernize operations, potentially leading to more efficient public transportation systems in the state. The company's focus on scalable business models and efficiency gains may also inspire similar practices among Texas-based tech and transportation firms.
