Tempest Droneworx™, a Houston-based real-time intelligence technology company, has been selected to present at Venture Atlanta 2026, the Southeast’s premier technology innovation event and one of the nation’s leading venture capital conferences. The event, now in its 19th year, will take place October 14-15 at the Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Symphony Hall, bringing together top-tier investors, corporate innovation leaders, and strategic partners from across the country. This selection underscores the growing impact of Texas-based technology companies on the national stage.
Venture Atlanta has helped launch more than 1,000 companies, facilitating over $8.8 billion in capital raised and $22 billion in successful exits. Chosen through a highly competitive process, Tempest Droneworx™ joins a select group of emerging companies recognized for innovation, market opportunity, leadership, customer traction, and growth potential. This year’s presenting companies span sectors including AI, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, cybersecurity, climate technology, robotics, manufacturing, and defense technology.
“Over the last several years, we’ve gone from proving that our technology works to proving that it solves real problems,” said Ty Audronis, founder and CTO of Tempest Droneworx™. “We’ve demonstrated our technology with the FAA and U.S. Air Force, we’re working with universities and commercial customers, and we’re bringing Corvus MRDR™ to market. Being selected for Venture Atlanta gives us the opportunity to tell that story to people who understand what it takes to turn proven technology into a much larger company.”
Tempest Droneworx™ develops real-time intelligence technology designed to prevent issues from becoming serious problems through real-time insight. Its Harbinger™ platform aggregates data from robots, drones, cameras, sensors, RADAR, satellite data, and other sources into a real-time 3D common operating picture, allowing people and autonomous systems to understand and act on information. Unlike systems built around a specific aircraft, sensor, or AI provider, Tempest Droneworx™ is platform-agnostic, enabling customers to integrate existing and future systems without being locked into a single ecosystem. The company is also bringing Corvus MRDR™ (Modular Robotics Development & Reporting) to market, an engineering platform for building and testing robotics, autonomy, and multi-vehicle technologies.
“Venture Atlanta is where promising companies get discovered and where the right connections can change what comes next,” said Allyson Eman, CEO of Venture Atlanta. “This year’s companies represent some of the Southeast’s strongest and most ambitious founders and technologies. Being selected in such a competitive field is a significant achievement.”
The implications for Texas are significant. Tempest Droneworx™, an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Houston, serves defense, government, public safety, research, agriculture, infrastructure, and commercial markets. Its selection at Venture Atlanta 2026 not only highlights the company’s growth potential but also reinforces Texas’s role as a hub for cutting-edge technology and defense innovation. As Venture Atlanta 2026 is anticipated to be a sold-out event, the visibility could accelerate Tempest Droneworx™’s access to capital and partnerships, driving further economic impact in the state.
