A2Z Cust2Mate Reports Strong Q2 Growth as Smart Cart Deliveries Nearly Double Sequentially

A2Z Cust2Mate Solutions Corp. (NASDAQ: AZ) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, revealing a substantial increase in revenue and Smart Cart deliveries. The company reported Q2 revenue of $5.9 million, a significant jump from $1.2 million in the same period last year. This growth was fueled by a near doubling of Smart Cart deliveries sequentially, with 950 units delivered in Q2 compared to 500 in the first quarter.

The Smart Cart revenue rose 80% sequentially to $4.41 million, contributing to a gross profit of $2.5 million, up from $0.3 million in the prior year. Gross margin improved to 42.6% from 23.3%, reflecting enhanced operational efficiency. The net loss narrowed to $7.3 million from $12.6 million, indicating progress toward profitability.

As of June 30, A2Z had delivered 3,350 total units, and the company remains confident in its target of 10,000 deliveries by year-end 2026, based on year-to-date performance, backlog, and visibility. The company projects $25 million in Smart Cart revenue for the second half of 2026, weighted toward the fourth quarter, as its dedicated manufacturing facility in China increases delivery capacity.

To support this growth, A2Z secured a $30 million credit line with Bank Leumi, which will be used to finance inventory and expansion. Additionally, the company is implementing cost-management initiatives expected to reduce annual operating expenses by approximately $7 million. These strategic moves are designed to strengthen the company's financial position and support its scaling efforts.

A2Z expects its Smart Carts to be deployed with at least two retailers outside Israel within the next six months, marking a significant step in its international expansion. The company also reports 19,000 deliveries scheduled by the end of 2027, based on existing purchase orders and contracted backlog, demonstrating strong demand for its technology.

The Smart Cart platform, developed by A2Z Cust2Mate, transforms everyday shopping carts into AI-powered, connected commerce platforms. It aims to elevate the in-store experience by providing personalized and rewarding journeys for shoppers. For retailers and brands, the platform offers targeted retail media and real-time shopper engagement at the moment of purchase decisions, along with actionable data on in-store behavior. By enabling retailers to increase revenue, optimize operations, and mitigate loss, the Smart Cart is positioned as a transformative solution in the retail industry.

“We are encouraged by our second-quarter results, which reflect strong demand for our Smart Cart technology and successful execution of our growth strategy,” said a company spokesperson. “The increased delivery capacity and strategic financing will allow us to scale our operations and meet the growing needs of retailers worldwide.”
