XOXO Reece Foundation to Host 4th Annual Birthday Bash Supporting Youth Athletes

The XOXO Reece Foundation is gearing up for its 4th Annual Birthday Bash on August 31, 2025, an event designed to celebrate what would have been Reece Shepard's 18th birthday while raising funds for youth athlete scholarships. This initiative underscores the foundation's commitment to supporting young athletes by covering competition-related expenses such as entry fees, travel, and lodging, thereby removing financial barriers to sports participation.

Reece Shepard, a competitive gymnast and honor roll student, tragically passed away at the age of 14 due to an unexplained brain hemorrhage. Her passion for youth sports and community support lives on through the foundation's work. The Birthday Bash, held at Firehouse Gastro Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, is free to the public and features an array of activities including food, drinks, live music, pop-up shops, and special competitions.

This year, the foundation has partnered with Backpack Dreams, a fair-trade fundraising initiative, to extend its impact.
